What To Expect When Visiting Las Vegas
Contrary to what most people visiting Las Vegas are thinking, you can save a lot of money if you only know the first thing to it. The key to the freebies and complimentary items in Las Vegas is to ask for them. They will not offer the free stuff to everyone because that would mean no profit for them. However, this is also their way of showing their appreciation to those who take the time to ask.
They will surely be glad to tell you about the things you need if you would only ask politely. If you even get lucky, you will be able to get a free night at the hotel where you are currently booked at.
Most of the time, hotels would give you a free overnight stay for a minimum of 3 or 4 nights of stay at their hotel. If you think that a free overnight stay at the hotel is not enough, you might be glad to know that they also throw in some more freebies. You may get some free buffet passes which you may use for either their lunch or dinner buffet. In some cases, they even give out both lunch and dinner buffet passes for free.
Of course, that will depend on how you ask for it from them. Try to be a little more patient and friendly with the hotel staff because you can be sure that they will repay your kindness four times more.
In terms of food discounts, you might be surprised that you would not even have to ask for it from the hotel front desk anymore. Nowadays, hotels would provide you with magazines inside your room. If in case you never checked out those magazines, I suggest that you start opening them. You might be surprised to find out that the hotel management clips different discount vouchers and some gift certificates in between the pages.
You may use them either in the hotel, the restaurants around town and in some souvenir shops. You would not have to waste your money with something that you can actually get for free anymore.
In the gambling part, you can also find some free vouchers and gift certificates that you can use freely in some casinos around Las Vegas. In some cases, the local newspapers might even include some free casino vouchers that you can use to bet with in a casino in Las Vegas. I suggest you start cutting them out and make sure that you double check them with their casino tie-up before you bring them with you. You would not want to end up having to shell out some extra cash because you misunderstood the promo you saw.
Make it clear with the casino that the voucher that you have is something that you will be able to use at their casino. Also, check for expiration dates for the vouchers to make sure of the validity.
The last thing that we would want to experience when in Las Vegas is inconvenience. Remember, we go to Las Vegas to enjoy and to have a great time. There is no reason for us to hate our Las Vegas trip because we did not prepare well for it.
