How To Make The Magic Happen In Las Vegas
Just like what the people in Las Vegas would say, Las Vegas only belongs to those who know how to play the game. One should be able to get through the in and the outs of the gambling Mecca or you lose yourself. There will always be some opportunities for you to redeem yourself once you have lost but then again, there will be a lot of others who will try to win against you.
You should know what strings to pull and when to lay your cards on the table just before you lose everything. This can either make or break your Las Vegas dream.
If you do not understand what I am talking about, I simply mean you should know what to do in order to survive Las Vegas. There are several general rules that can be left unsaid when in Vegas but then it would still be smart to hear them out loud. Sometimes, we tend to be a little bit stubborn no matter how close the fact is from biting our nose.
The secret to surviving Las Vegas is to be optimistic and to be idealistic at the same time. You cannot be a passive type of person when in Vegas because the opportunities will just pass you by.
The first thing you need to know about visiting Las Vegas is to arrive there at noon time. It would be a lot more advantageous to you if you would be able to arrive earlier so that you can still get an early taste of the place. Las Vegas gets really cramped up at 2pm and you do not want to spend your first few hours in Las Vegas falling in line. Lines in Las Vegas can take forever the next thing you know, you have spent more time falling in line.
Avoid places with long lines. Try to look for other places with the same other stuff that you would want to see. Later on, you can go back to the original plan once everybody gets tired of it.
You should also make sure to double check your bill in restaurants. There are times when they would somewhat intentionally put a can of Pepsi or a bottle of Coke in your tab by accident. You would not want to pay for those extra items that you never had, would you? This is a pretty common thing in most restaurants and bars in Las Vegas when they get all crowded.
They might be thinking that you would be too busy to notice it. After all, what's a big deal with a can of Pepsi anyway? Well, you could buy some really nice souvenirs than paying for a can of Pepsi you never had.
If you want to be a real winner in Las Vegas, go to a buffet during the odd hours, as they call it. This will be the dead hours for most of the restaurants that offer buffet dinner. Most of the people will either have early dinner before 6pm or late dinner before midnight. The point is that everyone will be busy in the strip during these odd hours.
This will be the best time to go to a buffet dinner and take as much as you can. If you are fast and clever enough, maybe you can slip in some extra muffins, donuts or apples to your bag.
